One colleague concluded my visit to him, right before I left Holland, with this joke: So you are about to bring the light to the land ware enlightenment comes from’. To honor Boudha a giant stupa was once build nearby Kathmandu, ‘Boudhanath Stupa’. Now these days ‘Boudha’ has become a part of growing Kathmandu, and is luckily for me just a few kilometers away from Aarohan. This immense man made statue I like to visit very much. Twice a day around 5:00 AM or PM lot of people walk around it, one giant stream of Nepali and Tibetan faces, most of them doing their prayers. If I look at this crowd long enough I drown in it from wondering and forget everything.
