Word of thanks from Aarohan

Meeting Marius de Groot in Kathmandu a year ago has turned out to be a beautiful beginning of friendship between Aarohan and our will wisher friends in Holland. We were simply flabbergasted after knowing that Marius had created a website (”supportaarohan.com”), and had formed a group of friends in Holland to generate support and help for us. As if that was not enough already, Marius is now in Kathmandu at Aarohan-Gurukul, to train our students more on light. Not only that, he has brought for us a precious gift - a number of useful equipments - all the way from Holland. Do we have words to express our hearts overflowing with gratitude for him and for our friend’s in Holland?

When Aarohan Theatre Group started Gurukul: School of theatre four years ago, all we had was a very strong determination and a dream, and virtually no resources at all. And then in these four years, with the help support, and good wishes from friends like you, we are beginning it see the first glimpse of our dream being materialized, we are happy to let you know that we have so for been successful in preparing a group of trained theatre workers, in contributing to the revival of Nepali theatre, in bringing public awareness in various socio-political issues, in short, in using “theatre for better reasons”. And the credit of it goes largely to our friends - in Nepal and abroad, I, on behalf of Aarohan, wish to express sincere gratefulness to Marius, and to all our generous friends in Holland who joined hands with him to support and encourage us.

Thank you Marius!
